LGBTQIA+

The Release Recovery Foundation was founded in 2020 by a board of directors motivated to help individuals from underserved communities to receive scholarship funding to help them gain access to world-class addiction treatment. Shortly thereafter, the LGBTQIA+ community was identified as a population who would benefit significantly from the assistance of the Release Recovery Foundation, leading to the formation of the Nic Pagano Scholarship Fund. Nic, a passionate member of the LGBTQIA+ community and former client of Release Recovery, tragically died of an overdose in June of 2021. Caron Treatment Centers, an industry leader in addiction treatment and a center of excellence year after year, has partnered with Nic Pagano Scholarship Fund.
