In this challenge, participants run four miles (6.4K) every four hours for 48 hours; 4x4x48. The challenge tests runners both physically and mentally, and it’s a favorite of American ultra-runner David Goggins @davidgoggins.

April 9th, 2021 @ 3:00pm • The Equinox Hotel | Hudson Yards, NYC • Leaving every 4 hours

So Far We’ve Raised: $60,406.96

On Friday April 9th, starting at 3:00 PM, a group of 9 runners who have “accepted” the Goggins Challenge will hit the streets of New York City in effort to raise money and build awareness for the addiction and mental health crisis that our nation currently faces. In an effort to build community and be inclusive the group is inviting YOU to get involved. The ways you can get involved include donating to the Release Recovery Foundation, sharing/liking all social media content from the weekend and/or coming out and running one or more of the 4-mile “legs” with the group (they will depart every 4 hours from the Equinox hotel in Hudson Yards). We cannot wait to see you!
